Many times we've started websites and thought to ourselves "I'm going to rank for all my main keywords and get loads of traffic!" then we realize that it's a ton of work and we don't have the time. This is where a freelance writer comes into play because they can get your content written better than you, and it can also be optimized if you hire the right person.
Writing content isn't as easy as typing up a word document and slapping it into your blog. You need to know what you're writing about, know how to optimize it, know how to format it, and various other things that go into content creation that take time. Writing is a skill learned over time, and not everyone can do it at their current levels, which is why you might want to think about outsourcing your content to a freelancer!
Businesses have always been working with freelancers to generate content because it's easier than paying someone an hourly wage and wondering how much work they're doing. With a freelancer, you know what you're paying for because it's on a per-project basis and you get the work when they're finished. It doesn't matter if it takes them a day or a week, the pay will be the same, and you will get the same results.
They have the experience
Many freelance writers have been doing what they love for years, maybe decades, and that's why you should think of outsourcing this type of work to them. You will tend to get an excellent price for an experienced writer because they tend to run their writing service if they have been doing it for long enough.
Offer continuous work and get a discount
Whenever I have a customer order from me, I will always keep track of how often they come back. If I see them coming back every month for a certain amount of articles, I will set them up on a recurring payment plan that is cheaper than if they purchased a single piece from me 10+ times.
You can build a business relationship with a great writer and maybe bring them on board, later on, to do all of your content in exchange for a share of your company. They won't fight you on this if you offer them something worthwhile! They will spit out 10x the content if they own part of your business lol.
Great writers are easy to find
You can search almost anywhere and find great writers, but you need to be able to hire them at affordable prices if you want to work with them. Getting fantastic content at $1 to $5 is a dream, and you should wake up lol. Pay them what they ask for, and you will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome 
You can find a lot of great writers here or on various other marketplaces as well as job boards.
You can always find someone within your budget
It's almost impossible to find a writer that isn't within your budget because people are always trying to boost up their profiles on various platforms, so they offer content at a steep discount. They do this to build their reviews, authority on the platforms, and their brand all at the same time. If you get lucky enough, you can find a fantastic writer for a fraction of what they would typically charge. If you can't get that lucky, you can always hire a dollar writer and see what they come up with.
They free up your time to focus on other things
Outsourcing helps you free up time, especially when you hire a freelance writer, and that's because content takes so long to create. I've taken 5+ hours to write a single article that was beautifully put together and sent it over to an amazed client. They could have done the same thing, but it would have taken them all week to do it, and that would have been wasted time since they can now focus on other things when they outsource

When hiring a freelance writer, you need to see it as an investment and not something you get an instant ROI from. The right writer can craft content that is optimized, engaging, and keeps people on the page as long as possible for you to capture a sale or get a new lead. There are writers all over the world waiting for your email, phone call, or PM asking them if they're ready for some additional work, so get out there and start looking
