Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Even though backlinks are important factors for getting high SERP, you can rank your content/website for a given keyword without any backlinks. If you are using a keyword that has high search volume but less competition you can rank your content just with keyword usage.
Too many backlinks ultimately harms your website.

If you mean ranking in the search list then you should take into consideration the fact that there many SEO methods in consideration by search engines. If your website has no backlinks but if the contents are unique and original then your website will have a good fighting chance in the rankings. Besides, if you add keywords when you upload your fresh contents then that’s also a way of getting traffic and also a good ranking in Google.
