Usually, all family members gather all together in a single home (or at least those who can attend). People arrive in the house a few days before Christmas so they can cooperate to make Christmas dinner for everyone. We are a large family, so we usually need a lot of people to make all those preparations. The house where we gather is big so it can accommodate several people. Some stay and receive the new year while there are others who prefer to return home after Christmas Eve.

If you noticed, whenever there's a subject we hear different opinions and stories of variety of people, but here on this Christmas question everyone have the same answer. Entire humanity unites in one unique holiday, to celebrate it peacefully and quietly.

It is my father that acts as Santa. I really don't know where this tradition or story started but what I know is since I was a kid, we always do this. We hang socks by our windows and my father puts chocolates and money in it. They put the gifts besides us, so, when we wake up we will be surprised. I believe back then, that it was really Santa.

I can so relate with this,I do this alot with my little nieces and nephews. The smiles they give when they're awake to see their gifts is priceless. I always want to see those smiles daily unfortunately it can't be everything but I cherish those moments alot.

True, The happiness you can feel and see from their faces are great. It lifts you up. It is indeed priceless and incomparable to anything. This is enough as a gift for me. The important action for Christmas is to share the love.

My Christmas was not grand. My family encountered a few financial problems so we didn't prepare lots of foods. A simple celebration took place. It's not much but we are happy because our family is complete. We know that God has plans for us.

I am happy for you. I can feel the joy in your words.

I know what you mean. Christmas is that one time you get to enjoy your time with people who matter. I even forced myself out of bed even though I had a slight fever and body ache all over just so I could greet everyone. Hopefully I only spread joy, love, and cheer and not the viral fever and colds I have in my system.

Our usual fare for Christmas is the family reunion with my siblings plus some cousins. It is my sister’s birthday too so their home is always the venue although we bring along food for sharing plus the gifts that we have for everyone. My mother lives with my sister so the focus is always on my 85-year old mother. We didn’t have games this Christmas because some of us have appointments after lunch time so we split earlier unlike in the previous years when we spent the whole day for the Christmas reunion.

A lot like any other day. This Christmas I did not travel back to meet my family. So it was just me, my friends and my computer. It was one long video editing day for me. The day just flew past me so fast, I could not tell until it was dark.

My Christmas for 3 consecutive years has been the same. Working. It not that I don't want to spend this very important day with my family, it's just that my work is very demanding during holiday seasons. When I got home from work everyone was drunk and sleeping already. Maybe I'll just catch up on my rest day and hopefully spend the New Year's Eve with them.

Our Christmas is like everybody else's I guess. We go to mass earlier in the evening. After the service, the kids would go to bed so they could wake up at midnight while the rest of us would prepare food for the Noche Buena. When clock hits twelve and it's Christmas time we would wake the kids up, and share the food we prepared. After which we exchange gifts with the family members. I would say that our Christmas is pretty much the same as everyone. But what makes it special for us is that we are together as a family.
