If you have a Facebook account, post about your website and include the link. That post is the social signal that you created. It will serve as the backlink of your website. Your Facebook friends can see that post and if one of them will click on the link then that is an added traffic to your website. The more posts you make about your website, the stronger your social signal becomes. However, you cannot post with wild abandon because that is tantamount to spamming.
