Can I use outlook for email promotion ?

Can I use outlook for email promotion ? And how effectively I can send 1000s of mails everyday through outlook ?

For sending mass mails I would use software designed specifically for that use. However email promotion is a big no no in my mind anyway. It is frowned upon and I'm pretty sure it's illegal as well.

I've used it before and it's not bad. Depends on if you're working on 50,000 or 500 e-mail addresses.

Also, the views in "preview" pane don't always come through as read, but often as deleted. So if you send 50,000 (better have some relationship with these people) and you get 50,000 reciepts of some kind, is your system going to overload?

E-mail promotion is not illegal if it is CAN-SPAM compliant in the USA and compliant with other such acts in their appropriate countries of origin. You can use Outlook to send as many e-mails as your system can handle given its' resources. However, you will probably run into ISP limits at some point in time...especially with a residential service plan.
