    That 1,000 email IDs can be a good start for a successful email marketing activity. However there is no direction for email marketing regarding the type of target. An example is you are promoting pet products and that 1,000 email IDs were randomly gathered. That means you cannot make an estimate how many will be replying to your email. What if you do not get any reply because no one is interested among those 1,000 recipients of the email?
