I think it to motivate others to either own a blog or sit up and do more for those that own blogs or sites.I know most times I personally do more when I see some payment proofs online and I realize some$$$ can be made off a thing if I'm more committed and hardworking.So I want to believe the motive is to encourage others to work hard other than that then it will be childish for just show off sake.
