That is a good procedure that is easy to follow. But be forewarned that it is not easy to get an approved Adsense account now unlike before that you easily get approved a few days after you had submitted your intention. My suggestion is to fill your website with good contents so that it can be on page 1 of the search list particularly Google because Adsense is under Google. Without much contents your application may just be pending.

You also need organic traffic.

I had an issue with getting accepted by Adsense originally months ago, despite trying on a few different sites. They nagged me on plausible causes each time.

However, when I finally had a reasonable website for use; and passed the automated approval I was once again decline for the 'lack of organic traffic from search engines such as Google'.

I ended up buying some traffic, and reapplied successfully.

Make sure you use your own ad trackers, invariably you will run into hackers who click your ads a few hundred times in one day, and this will red flag you with adsense. Be prepared to show server logs / etc to prove your case. WARNING: it does not always work. I have been banned twice due to hackers even though I had proof it was coming from an outside proxy and they will take your revenue, in my case over 3 grand total they have taken from me :{

The first requirement is you should have your own website. You can, of course, earn from Adsense through Google sites such as youtube or third party site such as hubpages, however, you will earn more on your adsense.
Once you have contents on your website, and already getting some traffic, you can go to adsense site create an account and submit your site. After a thorough review, Google will answer. If they believe that your site has a good design, unique contents, original contents, you will be accepted for adsense program.

My suggestion is for you to create your website with good contents which are original and not copied from another website. In the initial weeks, upload frequently like 3 times a week or even once a day to populate the website with new web pages containing good contents. Promote your website in social media to get traffic. When the traffic is already substantial like a few hundred readers then you can apply an account with Adsense. Good luck to your business.
