Micro niche websites are sites that typically target keywords that not many others are. If you think about it, you might think a niche you're interested in is a micro niche, but it is likely just an easy niche to get ranked in. Now, both eay niches and micro niches are similar, but they're slightly different when it comes to the topics you're targeting. A micro niche tends to have it's main keywords getting less than 5,000 searches per month, which isn't much at all when you think about the medium and hard niches getting 100,000+ searches per month for just one keyword!People tend to target micro niches and devote a single website to it because it's easier to rank in and bring in some profits. The only downside is that you won't get rich from a single micro niche website, you will need multiple micro niche sites in order to build up your profits. Sure, you could make $25 to $50 a day from a micro niche website, but that's on the higher end. You'll usually make around $5 or $10 per website if it's ranking for the best keywords that have the most traffic in your micro niche, which isn't enough to retire off of lol. So you'll need to target a few, probably more than 3, if you want to see any sort of profits that can allow you to put in your two weeks notice at your 9 to 5 day job. Even if you're making $50 a day from your micro niche websites, you might not want to quit just yet, because it could go away all of a sudden if a micro niche dies out. These niches don't die out too often, but it is a possibility that will only happen if some really negative press releases or news coverage comes out about your site.In this discussion, I'll be going over how you can get a micro niche site ranked easily and start bringing in the traffic from day 1 
Content is KingJust like any other website, you will need to be adding a lot of content to it regularly. You can get away with 1 post every few days, and this can actually be scheduled if you're using WordPress as your CMS. Simply write up 10 articles and schedule them to go out every 3 days. This will fill your content quota for the month and you should start seeing traffic coming in after a month or so, just because of the content you wrote up and scheduled. You need to do your keyword research and optimize your content for all of your top keywords. These are your keywords getting between 1,000 and 5,000 searches per month. The 5,000 searched keywords will be the top searched keywords in your niche, I'm not talking about setting up an SEO related website and only targeting keywords with less than 5,000 searches per month. If you do this, you're not in a micro niche, you're in a massive niche and just targeting the low searched keywords. Facebook ads
Ads will always bring in a steady flow of customers, especially facebook ads, because you can get extremely targeted with every ad. If your main keywords are only getting 5,000 searches per month, you can almost guarantee that your CPC on Facebook will be less than $0.05. You can set up a super targeted ad and get people to your website where you're selling something or where they can click your affiliate links. Of course, you will need to get tricky if you're website is solely an affiliate link farm for products related to your niche, because you might not get approved when you set up an ad on Facebook.Adwords (sometimes)
For micron niche websites, you can always use adwords and bring people in from Google. This is a good and bad thing at the same time because if it's a micro-niche, it's usually easy to rank for within the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages). This means you can likely get your website ranked fairly quick and you might not need to pay for top rankings. Of course, you can always keep your adwords ad running and siphon in as much traffic as possible, which will snowball you towards micro niche success, but it will burn into your profits since there won't be as many customers.Adwords is great for a lot of niches, but for many micro niches, it's not always a requirement in order to get quick search engine traffic. You can easily put up a bunch of quality content, build a few good backlinks, and wait a week or two in order to hit the first page of the search results. This way you don't waste any money on ads in order to break even, but you will also have to wait a few weeks before any money starts coming in.Keep them coming back
To keep a micro niche website working as well as possible, you need to keep the people coming back to your website. You can do this with either facebook ads and a Facebook pixel, an email capture system like MailChimp, or both. Setting up the Facebook pixel isn't difficult, you just need to add it to something like your checkout page so when someone does abandon their cart or not fill it in the first place, you can show them a discount code the next time they're on Facebook or something tantalizing in order to get them coming back. If you're setting up an email capture system, you will need to have a newsletter pop up asking them if they'd like to sign up. You can also have them entered into your email system if they purchase from you, just be sure they know they're signing up with you lol.In Conclusion
Micro niche websites aren't the most difficult thing to set up and run for a profit, but they won't make you rich anytime soon. You will always need to be adding content, but the good thing is you can automate this on the first of the month by writing up 10 articles and scheduling them using WordPress.
