    A high PR site means that the google page rank of that site is good. And links from high PR sites get more priority than low PR site in google.

    If your website gets good traffic, it will be obviously ranked high. However, there are other things to consider as well. Your website needs good backlinks to get ranked higher.

    From what I understand of a high page rank, your link lands on a higher position in the search list. And if that is the case, your backlink has a higher chance of getting clicked by searchers because it is in a vantage position regarding the search list. And when the searcher clicks on the backlink, that is already a new traffic for your website. The more searchers, the more traffic that your website will get.

    Of course a higher page rank would mean a lot more traffic / visitors in your site. It's logic the easier your site gets noticed, a lot more people would click it.
