How Passionate Are You About Seo?

I just wanted to hear from other guys and gals around the world, how passionate you are about Seo.
I know when I first started out, I found it really exciting discovering new ways to rank websites, but once I had ranked many of my own sites, I started to miss the interaction with other people.
Just interested to know how people feel about Seo nowadays, and with all these updates being rolled out, do you get tired or rise to the challenge of a tanked site?

I don't even really fool with SEO anymore. It's an unstable business model with all these crazzy Google updates all designed to keep us jumping through hoops! All I really do now-a-days is social marketing and good onpage SEO.

I have a friend who is doing his SEO chores every day. When he learned that SEO will give his website new traffic, he studied the ways of making his website SEO compliant. Now he spends at least 1 hour for the SEO chores. He checks the keywords on his website and he also post a short content just to give a semblance of updating his website. And most of all, he never tires of spreading his backlinks in any available site. He may be spending that much time because he believes that his website is getting good traffic from the search engines.
