    Do you know of / subscribe to any Freelance Magazines?

    Hello guys. Do you know of or subscribe to any real physical (or online) Freelance Magazines?

    Have you ever come across such a thing?

    I was just thinking about this today and realised, I've never come across anything like that in my travels. Have you?

    Like an actual physical paper magazine you can buy from the Newsagents, a train station, airport etc.

    With all the latest news and stuff about Freelancing within it. By freelancers, for freelancers. Do you know of / subscribe to any Freelance Magazines?

    I've done a bit of searching around, and you'd think you'd be able to find an online version of this wouldn't you right?

    But as it turns out, there isn't actually really anything out there like this.

    An actual offline and both online version of a magazine like many popular mags are today.

    And this could be a big thing too don't you think?

    I mean, you all know about those freelance stats don't you? I've harped them on here a few times now.

    Them's some serious stats with some serious growth doesn't show any signs of bottoming out.

    And honestly, how can an industry of infinite demand and supply ever bottom out?

    • There are 53 million people doing freelance work in the US – 34% of the national workforce. Freelancers contribute an estimated $715 billion in revenue to the economy.
    • There are approximately 1.4 million British freelancers working across all sectors which has grown 14% in the past 10 years and the whole UK freelance industry is worth around £21 billion.
    But with such a wide and diverse array of freelance services, there is certainly more than enough content wise!

    You could make a simple magazine that provided tutorials on how to do things, like sell freelance services & make money.

    And with enough publications circulating, you could probably collect a few paying subscribers from it.

    Magazines have lots of ways you can make money from them if people are reading them (ads, sponsors etc).

    That's why there's all sorts of magazines out there on all sorts of weird and wonderful crap stuff today LOL

    And as a freelancer, if I saw a magazine on the shelf of some shop about freelancing, I'd be inclined to buy it.

    Even if I wasn't one. I probably would just out of fascination if it taught me about how to make money some how.

    I guess you could build up hype by advertising it TV and that (although that costs a bomb), radio and social media.

    But that's just part and parcel of starting your own magazine publishing business right?

    But I could be on to something here right? What do you think?

    Is there potential out there for this sort of thing for freelancers?

    Would it, could it be popular amongst freelancers and non-freelancers?

    Who will be the first to jump on this untapped niche and tap it!? Do you know of / subscribe to any Freelance Magazines?

    I know one online magazine named Foundr. I used to be their subscriber when it was free. But now that it is not free anymore. I don't think I am part of any good online magazine. So I guess I have to check out on some of the recommendations. I think entrepreneur also brings out good content on freelancing.

    I don't know of any, but I do check certain sites and blogs dedicated to freelancing from time to time. The only fact I hate about freelancing is that it still isn't a global thing to its fullest extent. A lot of people claim to be global, but once you join you end up being disappointed. Freelancing is great though, if you can prove yourself and your skills you can earn some nice dosh.

    I never came across a freelance magazine and I've traveled quite a lot over the years. Now that you've brought it up, it does make me wonder why there aren't any out there? I imagine that it is a wide market considering there are more freelancers every single day and these numbers will only increase in the future.

    I do follow certain freelance focused blogs but that's different. An actual magazine would be very interesting to read. When are we making it happen, Mike? Do you know of / subscribe to any Freelance Magazines?

    I am quite surprise to know from you that there isn't any magazine, whether online or offline, about freelancing. I think it might be good opportunity to start one. I don't think I will be the one, but I will certainly follow if you do!

    Wow, I didn't know freelancers around the world make billions of dollars, I thought we were way less people doing this thing. I'm not aware of any Freelance Magazine but I would love to sign up for one, it's hard for me to keep up with all the news since I get my information from multiple sources.

    Well,as far as my country freelancing especially online is quite new to us and as such wouldn't find such a magazine online but then again,I think I have even come across it online.So yes maybe someone can actually take advantage and make some bucks from it.

    I have subscribed to Authors Publish Magazines. This newsletter not only sends me information on where I can publish online but also links to valuable articles on freelancing and making money with writing. Sometimes they also send me free ebooks. This morning they delivered a free ebook titled "Guide to submit and publish"

    I have been to many sites for freelancers just to see how they are bonding there. But I haven’t registered in any of those freelancers sites because I don’t want to join and then leave for lack of time. With magazines, I cannot say that I have the interest but for sure it would again be the time constraint that I will reason out. But maybe if someone would suggest a good magazine for freelancers then I will check it out.
