Create a youtube account and upload couple of videos. Then apply for adsense, if you don't already have, or associate your adsense account. Then wait for the first 10 K views. Once you have 10K views youtube will place ads on your vidoes. You will earn from ad impression ($1 for 1000 views) and ad clicks.

I believe you already have a channel, what you need is just 10k views to monetize your channel.So keep uploading interesting videos until you hit the monetizing mark of 10k views, enable the monetizing icon on your channel and apply for Adsense, get approved and you would start having ads on your videos and you will start making money and you will need a 100 USD to withdraw monthly.

From what I know, our Youtube channel is monetized and connected to an Adsense account. That means you have to create an Adsense account first before you monetize your videos. It happened to our videos that we had them monetized without connecting our Youtube channel to the Adsense account. The views that were monetized did not count to the supposed earnings.
