Installing an Internal Search Feature to your website to increase conversions and please your users.

Today’s websites are much more complex than their forefathers. Most contain a wealth of information about a product or service site visitors use to learn more about what they’re looking for.

Internal search features will help out people immensely when it comes to having it within your website and not relying on the search engines. Design and programming has gotten much more complex compared to the websites we saw when we were growing up, so stay modern and don't fall behind. As websites evolve, users want to find the information they're looking for as quick as possible because people only get more and more impatient every year.

A good reason to have an internal search feature on your website is just in case someone finds your website confusing or cluttered, they can just input what they're looking for and search it to get immediate results without wasting much time. Internal search functions benefit not only the user, but the website owner as well because it will easily increase conversions.

Here I'm going to go over a few reasons why the internal site search function is beneficial to everyone, not just the user Installing an Internal Search Feature to your website to increase conversions and please your users.

1. Speed: Like said above, the speed that people find information on your website will be increased and they will have a better time.

2. Confusing Structure: Also mentioned above, the way a website is designed could make sense to you but it could be confusing to some of your users. One of the better reasons for this is because you should be adding content to your website or blog and that will change what shows on your homepage and subpages if you have a blog roll showing your recent posts. If someone found a subpage or blog post from your homepage but you add more content, it might not be on the homepage anymore and this is where the search feature comes in handy. They can simply put what they remember into the search bar on your site and see what comes up.

Internal search functions help out the webmaster just as much as the user

Sure you can figure out where your user is coming from if you have analytics installed. You can also follow the path they take through your website. But what if they intended to take another path that they couldn't find? With an internal search function on your website you can watch to see exactly where they want to go on your website and which keywords they're typing into your website. This usually take a little extra coding but as I've seen, it isn't an expensive thing to pay for since it's not very difficult to do.

By knowing exactly what keywords your user is typing into your own website you can then begin to optimize everything for your other visitors because of this basic information. If you notice that the majority of your searches are looking up a specific keywords, or related keywords, you can start adding more content about that so they can find something worth reading. This will easily increase your conversions since people will be staying on your website longer and possibly clicking an ad or purchasing something you're selling.

One great feature of a search function on your website is figuring out new keywords that you had no intention of targeting. You can see what your users are searching for and then add those exact keywords into Adwords or Bing Ads and target people searching for that keyword or phrase. You can even set up custom campaigns to send PPC clicks to those specific pages your internal search users landed on. This will easily increase your conversions because you already know people are reading specific content on your pages Installing an Internal Search Feature to your website to increase conversions and please your users.

In Conclusion:
To be competitive in todays market, you will need any edge you can get. By figuring out what your users are searching while on your website you can increase your conversions from PPC campaigns and also optimize for a specific set of keywords. Users love the search functions because they don't have to browse all over the place and possibly miss what they're looking for.

Hello
Have a wonderful day.

Google gave this feature for every website owner to make a search bar and when anyone will search within the website it will be a paid search. That means the website owner will get pay for the onternal website search. There are huge search engines which are also provide internal search engine search bar. Just google.

Thanks
Centurion

Do you mean to say that if my website has that search feature and a visitor uses that feature then I will earn from Google? I didn’t know about that. If that is the case then all websites should have that search feature because everyone is always using the search function in anything that they do. Would you believe that I would search something when I forget the name or even the title of a movie?

I remember prior to google, there was atomz search engine for in website search. And it used to work lot better. But these days it seems it can not be much used. And there are some issues with the conversion for people to properly converting through in search. These days you have google search option which can be embeded on any site that you own. And this way one can get themselves indexed too. So that's one benefit of such options.

I am not using internal search features on my websites yet, however, I understand the benefits of having an internal search feature on the website. The internal search feature has many advantages such as:
help the visitor find contents based on a search query
Makes the visitor stay longer on your website, which will reduce your bounce rate.
helps you to optimize your content based on internal search query
helps you to develop content based on visitors' interest.
