Yes. As my opinion you can do only do follow back links. By my experience I have done only social media book mark back link for a website and the website got a rank on Google page rank based. It went from zero to 1 page rank. Only do follow based back link and keyword hyperlink based do follow back link will increase your website position on search engine result page and also will increase the traffic for your website and will try to change your website page rank.
