    Please suggest to me the best video editor software, free one

    Hello, can anyone please suggest me the best video editor? I need to edit videos for youtube channel, has 5-10mins length. free software or site suggestion will be appreciated.

    I have never seen a single good free video editor before. I think, there's not any available. The good ones are considerably expensive.

    If you are still looking for free software, the most basic one is obviously the Windows Movie Maker. I'm guessing you tried it?

    Other than that take a look at Lightworks: https://www.lwks.com/

    It's completely free, after the trial just register and you don't have to upgrade or pay for anything.

    i tried movie maker but the time it takes and the size is way too much.
    i will consider the suggested link and try for sure when needed again.

    I use Sony Vegas pro it's free and has a lot of amazing video editing functions, I haven't really tried a lot of the other video editing software and the adobe packages are so expensive so i'm sticking to vegas pro.

    I would recommend lightworks video editing software. It has been used in the past in some big screen movies like the King and Speech.

    If you have an Apple device, you can use iMovie for free. I am editing on iMovie and it is easy to use!

    Movie maker is also my suggestion because it comes with the Windows OS. However, you mentioned about the size, perhaps you have to consider downloading a converter. That’s’ my sad experience with video editors that they have a particular format requirement. Like the Adobe Premiere that I have used, it can only process avi format of videos. And since our camera’s video output is mp4 so it has to be converted first to avi before we can use it.
