Have you ever felt to highlight a customer?

Have you guys felt to highlight a customer in a bigger picture, in some other platform because I’m not sure you cannot do anything out here, especially if your target of concerned is the customer itself, who pays you for your service.

When a customer is not intellectual or doesn't talk any sense regarding their order or in a situation where, you need to talk with the customer that regarding the order they have purchased and when you message them, they don’t respond to your message.

How do you guys tackle such situations ?

I have on a few occasions come across someone who has placed an order with me who doesn't make any sense at all in what they want. It's really difficult to deal with these situations because you do not want to come across as rude but then at the same time you need to understand what they mean to be able to fulfil the order. Most of the time I do go back to them and I do ask them if they could be more specific about what they want but a lot of the time they never come back to me, when that is the case I usually cancel the order on mutual agreement.

Oh yes you do get them ones some times! And you can only really message them in the order to ask what it is they want specifically. Most get back to you and through talking you can make them understand what it is you can do and usually gleam enough from them to know what they want. However, not all people get back to you and sometimes, some still don't respond with what you need to know or just leave very short replies. In these cases all you can really do is just carry on trying to explain to them what the limitations of the service are and what it is that you need from them minimum in order to carry out the work.

Sometimes when that happens and I don't have enough to go on. I tell them that I'll use my best judgement on what I think it is they're asking. Since they haven't updated me on my questions and requests for more information, I will only be able to do the work as I feel it should be done.

Basically, I put the ball in their court, and make the onus on them if the work hasn't been carried out as they want for not giving me the required, or enough details, to do the work in the way they want if that makes sense. That way you're basically covering yourself if you know what I mean.
