Growing social signals can be difficult but it's not impossible and the results are amazing, especially if you can get a lot of shares and likes on a social media post, the exposure you can get from that is great!

Have you tried using hashtags? Sometimes hashtags work really well in social media and if you can hit a popular hashtag your post could gain a lot of exposure with the possibility of social signals.

Backlinks from social media are great backlinks, the are highly ranked in search engines and are crawled constantly so the chances of you post and any links you place in your post on social media being picked up by search engines is very high.

Yeah I often use hashtags on Twitter and also Tumblr I don't really use Instagram not sure why just not so keen on that site. But do use also recently hashtags in facebook as I noticed this is starting to work not as effective as Twitter and Tumblr but still works a little.

Yeah definitely social signals are powerful. There is direct correlation today between having lots of social signals and having rankings improved because of them. Your social signal count is one way that a Search Engine like Google can know whether or not your site is a popular site amongst people. Since sites that have a lot of them are usually sites that are getting shared a lot of social media and that's a signal to them that your site is popular and rank worthy. But it's probably a bit more complex than that in terms of how they actually look at those signals. Because they may look into it a bit deeper and look at how many you have on one site and how many you have on another and expect them to line up. As think about it, it wouldn't really make sense if you had a lot of say, Facebook shares but no Twitter tweets, no Pinterest pins, no LinkedIn shares and nothing else because truly popular sites get shared across the full spectrum of social media sites and end up with shares from all of them. So that's just something to consider when buying social signals for this purpose. To make sure you're not forgetting about building up your signals from other social media sites as well. Fortunately, you can find some nice providers of social signals on here that give you signals from multiple platform and that's what you want to kind of even it out and make it look more natural if you know what I mean! Yeah Mike I do tend to try get social signals from mainly Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Linkedin and also Google+ as know google+ as some good effects . I am pretty good on Facebook social signals and a few of the others . I do struggle as well getting social signals to stubmleupon and at times reddit . Some times reddit is great for my site and some times I struggle with it. It's often like an hit and miss with that one.

I guess search engines are now considering social signals as valid SEO just the same as the backlinks on forums, blogs and other websites. I have seen some posts on social media with hundreds or thousands of shares. That clearly means the post is viral and interesting to the public so it is only right to be considered a high quality social signal that is worth to be earning some points vis-à-vis the ranking.

I think social signals can be great. But the influencer marketing is changing the way social media working. And the influence marketing seems to be doing good in that case. I think social signals with pages for the brand is a good start. Most of the pinterest and facebook pages like this works lot better and easier. Also there seems to be a lot of people who make use of the social signal and it does work out.
