Well for starters you need to create really good content and then you will gain natural backlinks from people sharing your content.

Then you can also gain backlinks from commenting on high quality blogs in your niche, leave quality comments and over time you will have built some good backlinks.

Try guest posting on niche related websites, this is a great way to build good backlinks

Then add your website to directories and get sharing on social media.

There are also plenty of services here to get some great sellers to build backlinks for you, just have a browse around. If you are looking for high quality backlinks don't go for cheap, bulk backlinks. One quality backlink will be so much more valuable than loads of spammy ones! Do your homework in the marketplace and search for sellers that have good recommendations and read through them to see if that seller will suit your needs.

Well, it's hard if getting high authority backlinks was an easy task, they weren't that high authority in the first place.
Like in any business you need to be ready to make a trade, give something in return for getting that backlink. Depending on your niche and business there are plenty of ways around it, you just need to figure out what the people in your industry need and offer that to them and in return maybe you'll mentioned and earn a dofollow high authority backlink

My take on quality backlinks is to have your site’s link posted in authority sites like gov and edu although you can also count on popular sites like big forums and popular bloggers. For me, the easiest is to post a comment on a very popular blog that has thousands of regular readers. That comment you posted can be seen by the countless of readers of that blog and the search engines will give your backlink a good ranking.
