Hello Freelancers,
Recently I've been asking questions about blogging. Anything from what to do and how to make money from it. - I'm eager to get even more recommendations, suggestions and ideas. It's very useful!
That being said..
I would probably have to go with an autoresponder, as I would probably want to build a list. Right?
I have used aweber and getresponse in the past.. - But I don't think I'll go with something I have to pay for when I start.. It feels like that would be a pretty dumb choice. Like throwing money away because I have nothing better to do. - Which I do.
I do have better things to do, and other things to do.. And I would probably like to go with a free alternative for starters.. - But it feels like there's literally thousands of options to chose from..
So here I am. Waiting for your suggestions. - What do you think? Can you recommend something decent?

I've had a bunch of 100 - 500 lists and they would pull in a big profit for the day if I blasted out an email to them lol. One time I had a list of 400 people and shot out a "newsletter" letting them know we had a few new services, and I then profited $600
I got banned because I scraped a list of webmasters and added them into my mailchimp account lmao :D
Yeah, 2,000 subscribers can go a long way as long as they're targeted :D I've had a bunch of 100 - 500 lists and they would pull in a big profit for the day if I blasted out an email to them lol. A feature that is pretty awesome is that you can pick canned responses and edit them to fit your needs. This way you can have it customized to the users name, email, address, etc. depending on what information you collect when they're signing up. That's a pretty standard feature for most auto responders though. Another feature I really like is that you can schedule your emails to be sent out whenever you want. You can automate it for a super long time if you want, like an entire year, by setting up scheduled emails based on when the users signs up. What I like doing is setting it up to send a "Thank You" email to my new sign ups so they can see they'll be getting emails from us most likely. I say that I won't spam them, but what they don't know is that I already have at least 7 emails set up to be sent to them over time lol
Mailchimp does allow you to have a free account up to 2,000 emails/subscribers, so you can definitely test it out easily to see if it's the platform for you or not

Now I actually don't care, but I'm getting them to notice my website again and they can click through to my pages via links in the email lol. The next email will go out roughly a week (7 to 10 days) after they sign up and will give them a coupon code to come back and buy something they need.
