I have just come across this Google Youtube Trueview for action ads that was introduced yesterday by Google Adwords.
This is basically a call to action that you can display at the base of your video during and after your video.
I have yet to play around with this myself but I think that this is going to be a really nifty way to increase conversions with Google Adwords on Youtube.
I like the look of it and I am looking forward to seeing how this works for me and how I can incorporate this into my video marketing strategies!

Wait more ads? Ads ads ads! That's all it is and is about today! Will we ever get to live in an era where there is no advertising at all? I don't think there ever will be. Will there? How nice would that be though? To use an Internet where you aren't constantly bombarded by ads! But it will never be. Even in real life you are constantly bombarded by ads. Ads on the way to work on billboards. Ads on the radio. Get home and see ads on the TV. Check your emails and social networking sites and see ads everywhere. Browse some site for something you might want to buy and you'll see ads in the sidebar. Ads everywhere. Everywhere you look!

That said, if you're an advertiser, this is probably what you want. For your ads to be seen everywhere in as many ways as possible. These true view ads by YouTube are looking a little less intrusive than before and a simple change of words can make all the difference. So instead of saying "Click here now" it's a little more encouraging by saying "Learn more". But it's still an ad at the end of the day.

I always skip the ads when possible because I don't want to wait for a call to action button to pop up. I don't think I would have clicked through to the website after the video was done either way, but now I may be more inclined to do so since I like to learn stuff and I'm a sucker for the "Learn More" buttons lol
It's also pretty awesome that it shows your URL on the video now. I don't think it did in the past and that sucked because people sometimes will see the ad URL and type it into their browser to see what the website is about. This helps you out by saving you some cash since they aren't actually clicking on your ad
