I am looking for content ideas on how to become a millionaire.... not a post on one main way but lists of ways and they can be silly or downright outrageous too and of course some good legit ones sprinkled in between. This is for a series of fun posts on my website and my creativity has now run dry on this.

I guess you could make millions if you were a female model, unfortunately it's not the same with being a male model. Male models usually get paid less than female models. Probably the only profession, or a select few, that men get paid less than the women. Very interesting, indeed. I myself probably want to model though, i hate taking my own picture for goodness sake!!

Welcome Lynne. I've always wanted to do that myself. Some people do it for a living. They claim what's known as "[url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_salvage]Salvage rights[/url]" you do have to declare it as earnings. And some of it might still belong to other people. I think it's a 100 years you get. Where if you find something that was sunk over a 100 years ago. You can claim all of it as yours. But anything less than that you have to claim it but can still claim salvage rights or something. I watched a couple documentaries on it a while back and it looked like a dream job. Or something to do when you retire but you need a good boat and a lot of gear to find deep water wrecks and the costs can really add up and you might not find nothing for years. What with the ocean being such a wide and deep place and all. :)

Well it certainly sounds like loads of fun, well if you find anything that is. I'm not sure how much fun it would be if you search for years on end and don't find anything.
Yes I agree, it would be a nice hobby for someone that is retired :)

You are so right, money is not everything is it? My family comes first in my life and the only reason I would want lots of money is so I don't have to work so I can spend more time with my kids :)

That is a dream that many people have I guess, despite the fact that money is not everything as health and love and family matters a lot. I think that it is almost impossible to become a millionaire unless you win the lottery, or maybe inherit a good sum of money. You could try to get acquainted with some senior people who are well off, and maybe be their carer or something so that they might mention you in their will. And you may try to befriend or marry someone who is rich :)

Hey Lynne, i've tried playing the lottery, even bingo at some times, without real success. Recently i discover the bets(i'm betting on dog, horses and football) but to be honest the wining is really really small and not that often as you may think.
For us, as regular people, i don't believe there is a fast way to become millionaire unless you have a hidden talent which, done properly, will bring you some cash.
However you can try inventing something, anything, and perhaps someone will invest in your idea. Problem with that is that you have to pitch the right people with the right kind of money :)

There are many ways of going about it. Unfortunately they aren't all easy and require a lot of luck and skill.
Here are 5 tongue in cheek ways to become a millionaire. Although I say them in jest!
1. Play the lottery. Chances of winning are about 1 in 100,000,000 so pretty slim and remote but hey you gotta be in it to win it!?
2. Start a business that sells high ticket items like luxury cars, homes and Learjets and target the Sheiks in Abu Dhabi.
3. Marry a famous person such as a footballer or famous Hollywood star but don't sign a pre-nup then sue sue sue!
4. Go treasure hunting in the deep seas for sunken ships and claim all the booty as yours (allowed).
5. Become a stock broker and investor and invest in up and coming trends and niches like wearable tech!
Okay that's 5 ways to do it but it doesn't mean that you will become a millionaire by doing them. You may find that you actually spend out more than you earn from doing all of these things and there's no guarantee that each and any will earn you a million+.
But they are ways that have made people millionaires in the past.
And unless you try, you'll never know!?
