Write the reason you're deleting this FAQ
I've just been reading a cool article on SearchEngineLand about advertising and the different ways ads are killing SEO.
They refer to "top heavy" which apparently was something that came out in 2012 but yeah I am slow to learn some things... From the way I understand it Google Adsense was allowing a maximum of 3 ads showing per page, however now they have just changed how this works.
Now you need to have a lot more content than ads which makes complete sense to me. I go to a website to read content, not to get bombarded by advertisements!
So make sure you have loads of quality content and then some well placed ads in moderation....

That's right. Or at least, that's always been the case. Where have they said that though to Lynne? They are saying you can use more or less ads per page now? I've never seen the point in having too many Adsense ads per page anyway. By putting more than 2/3 on your page, you drastically decrease the eCPM and CPC of them. So you'll actually earn more eCPM/CPC by having less ads on the page. But more than this, people absolutely hate and despise ads (generally). They slow the users experience down and don't really add any real value. I never really see the point in using them on some sites though. Some people will have call-to-actions and email subscribe form on their site, trying to build their list. Yet right next to that they'll have an Adsense ad that links to one of their competitor sites that is paying like 0.03-0.10 CPC or something like that. That doesn't make sense to me. Why send a potential client/customer off to someone else's site through an Ad on that page when you can get them to sign up to you instead? What do you want to do? Earn $0.10 for a click and never see that person again. Or get them to sign up to your site and subscribe to your email newsletters instead. It baffles me!
