Personally I’m not a fan of Twitter, I use mostly Facebook but I know that this could be useful for those who use Twitter as primary social media network. Recently Twitter has launched a new button which allow anyone to send direct message to your profile from your website. Basically you need only to embed the button code to your website and that’s it. Also, you can change the button configurations from settings to your profile account.
Go to this url : https://publish.twitter.com and click to “Twitter Buttons” after that select “Mention Button” then type your username, and copy the generated code.That’s it!

I hate using those free share buttons on my sites and this will definitely take place of my twitter buttons so that my pages look more professional. Hmmmmm, that's a pretty cool idea so don't do it!!! lol 
If you can basically get it set up to auto generate content for your pages and people figure out that you're the hub of popular tweets around the world, they would most likely come to check out your pages every once in a while lol.

Embedding the code is pretty simple since it's just in HTML. It's basically a copy and paste job which takes a few seconds, shich I love :D
I do like that there are multiple options for types of embedded code that you an use, such as:

Actually that is possible, I mean, it's not limited because you can embed anything you want to your website, also you can embed multiple URLs in the same page. That can be done in html which is pretty simple.
Basically you need only to choose some active Twitter accounts that are posting good content or something, then let the script to do the job. Imagine if you'll embed 20 accounts or more..your site will have a lot of content without doing anything. Just copy & paste the embed code! LOL
Btw, I like the design of embedded grid, even I hate Twitter though. :D

Only thing i don't like about Twitter is these private messages which is really annoying and like real "spam fest" so i don't even look at them any more and i never would use "message me" button, i bet i would just receive more spam in my inbox. Lucky we don't have to clean up these messages by our self, because it would be real pain in the neck....

I find it so annoying that I can't just switch the private messages option right off on Twitter. At this time I just don't even look at these private messages because there are too many and I don't have the time in my day to waft through all of them. Oh I won't use that simply because if someone sends me messages on Twitter I will never see them. This is not because I don't care or purposely don't check them. I shared in community discussion a little while ago how Twitter private messages are just a spam fest. I don't think I have ever received a real private message just automated BS.
