There is a way of sort of faking it by changing the source code in the page from an actual verified account and entering it into your own profiles code. This doesn't remain of course, as soon as you refresh the page. So kinda pointless really but you can take a screenshot lol.
Note: This is just a prank! Well verified badges are more reserved for big brands and names, celebrities, public figures and the like. IG only really lets big names, brands, celebs and public figures verify their account because they know that big accounts like these have a very high chance of being "impersonated". Cloned basically and try to pretend to be that persona, brand or name or figure. You can't request a verified badge but there are other things you can do to show people that you're authentic. Such as linking to your IG profile from your company website or blog or on your Facebook page or Twitter account etc. IG also review all verified accounts to make sure that the IG UX remains an authentic one for its users. They don't want people getting the wrong idea and mistaking one profile for someone when it's not the actual official profile for that person.
