Marketing on facebook isn't like posting an article to your website. You'll need to market to people in a way to increase clicks through to your website, facebook page, etc.
You'll need to be posting on your own page as well as other community pages in order to pull traffic into your own content, website, business page. This can be a tricky procedure, but I'll help you out as much as I can with the following content here 
When marketing your businesses facebook page or website you'll need to do it delicately so that you don't ruin your image. To do this you have to post comments and content that does not come across as "spammy" in the eyes of the page manager.
To market properly, you'll need to do some of the following:

yeah, replying to your people is awesome for conversions. The person you're talking to may not be the one who signs up, but the person who is lurking may like your response and contact you directly :D

Awesome fb marketing tips Raz thanks! I agree completely that it's all about being responsive and engaging people on fb if you want what you post to it to actually get recognized. Plus it really helps your business's reputation in general as well if you're responsive and engaging with people who engage with your posts and things.
One thing I wanted to ask you about is your section on [b]posting to communities[/b]. And targeting large, medium and small communities. What do you mean by communities though? What are Facebook communities? According to Facebook. "[color=#800080]Community Pages are a new type of Facebook Page dedicated to a topic or experience that is owned collectively by the community connected to it. Just like official Pages for businesses, organizations and public figures, Community Pages let you connect with others who share similar interests and experiences.[/color]"
But that was from 2010. And I've been using Facebook since about day 1 so how can I miss this? What's the difference between Facebook Pages, Profiles, Groups and Community Pages? How do you create a Community Page? I presume it's done in the same way as you would when creating an actual Page, but instead of choosing Page for Local Business or Place, Company, Organization or Brand or Product or Artist etc. You would choose the Cause of Community option right?

Anyway, next to that your tips are very good and they are tips to live by if you are to grow, become someone and survive today in the online marketing stratosphere! It just goes to show that if you're willing to put the leg work in, you can make something of it. As opposed to the "post and go" marketing that most people do these days then wonder why they're not getting anything from it!

I try not to target business pages because your posts will normally get deleted or ghosted. That's because you're posting to a page which is most likely a competitor. These are the communities I was referring to lol.

Sometimes I'll take it a step further and see if I can get a pinned comment on a page or have the owner of the page post for me. Usually I have to pay for this, sometimes it's a monthly fee but it's worth it if the group has a good amount of users and traffic.

If you don't reach out, you're missing a lot of sales or clients :)
I've reached out to thousands of potential clients who I thought might be interested in my services.
