Google’s Search Quality Rating Guidelines - are you conversant with them?

Last March Google updated the 'Google’s Search Quality Rating Guidelines'.
In this link you will be able to find these guidelines -

Were you aware of this? Are you conversant with these guidelines? This is actually the first published update to the public. I guess this sheds some light to the main things Google focuses on for the ranking algorithm. Maybe it is worth going through it if you have never come across it or are still unsure how to best go about ranking. Your views on this document and any comments are appreciated.

I though it was just a boring old school Guideline, it's pretty interesting actually...but 146 pages, God damn...

Actually I wasn't aware of Google publishing Search Quality Guidelines, I will most definitely go and check that out. It certainly can't hurt! I am sure I will learn a lot reading that... but Cristian said it is 146 pages so I will have to set aside some time to just focus on that, it will be a long read.

Gee, that was a very long guideline that I don’t think anyone here will have the patience and perseverance to read it’s entirety. To be honest, how many of you here read the TOS of a website before subscribing or joining? That long document that says about the rules and regulations will not really sink on our heads simply because it is too long and we might have forgotten what we read in page 1 when we go to page 100.
