Can you give me some insight into how successful you have been with paid traffic campaigns like Adwords, Bing Ads etc
I have used Adwords before and I found it quite useful but I never really went way out with it. I also never had landing pages set up either, so I think that might make a massive difference?
Can you give me some tips and tricks to make the most out of paid traffic campaigns.
I am not interested in any bulk traffic, ptc traffic or traffic exchange type traffic only Adwords, Bing etc.

Kind of. I'll use my sub pages that are targeted towards specific keywords. If I don't have a subpage targeting s certain keyword, I'll make one :D
Setting up ads to target specific pages with specific keywords you can increase your relevancy and decrease the amount you pay per click. Some systems even set it up so that the more relevant your ad is, the more it shows. I try to get a 7, 8, 9 or 10 out of 10 relevancy because that seems to work the best for click throughs and lowering the cost. Obviously a 10 out of 10 relevancy will be better than a 7, but if you have a 1 or 2 you'll notice you're probably spending more per click than if you had a 7+ relevancy. Think of it similar to how Google works, the more relevant your website is, the easier it is to rank in the search rankings. The only difference is that if your website or sub page is not relevant, you will just have to pay more per click and your ad might not show as often.
Setting up your pages are pretty simple. To do this you can just write up an article that is specifically for a keyword you're targeting so that the relevancy shows up at a 7 or higher. Another way is so copy a service page and paste it to a sub page then publish it. You will have to go in and edit the on page optimization, but that's not difficult at all :)
NOTE: When you start your campaigns, you won't always be set at a 9 or 10 relevancy. Sometimes it takes a few days to increase. I've had plenty of campaigns where my keywords and ads show a 5 relevancy, but over the course of a week they increased to a 10 :)

Whenever I set up a campaign I'll slow roll it at first. I won't just slap up a campaign that worked last month, because it may just be a waste of money this month. Some of my campaigns have been running for an extremely long time because they're in low competition niches and I don't have to edit them much to stay on top
When I start my campaigns I'll have them set at $10 per day with no end date. I will check them every day in order to remove keywords that aren't performing, increase the bids on keywords that need it and I think they'll perform well if I do, and remove some keywords all together because they aren't pulling in the correct traffic. After I do all this for a few weeks I'll then increase my pay per day to $20 to $50 a day depending on the niche. Some niches don't need as much because there isn't enough traffic to pay $50 a day lol. But this is a ways down the road.
I'll split test 10 different ads in each campaign and weed out the ones that aren't working. I won't wait 3 weeks to find the best ad, I'll weed them out a little each week so that I'm not killing a good ad before it's prime
I've had success with both adwords and bing/yahoo advertising. I've noticed that adwords tends to be a bit more expensive, but they convert into a sale a littler easier than bing/yahoos ppc platform.
