YEs you can, but the toolbar is werry god when you want to buy traffic, if a site is selling traffic check their alexa ranking and you can see if he is lying or not
PS high alexa is bad, low is good

Based on what I had read in some discussions about Alexa, the ranking of websites there is based mainly on the traffic. Take for instance Google which occupies the number 1 slot, it means that Google is getting the most number of traffic among all the websites in the internet. In order to increase your website’s ranking in Alexa then you must do something to increase the traffic that your website it getting.
