Is it possible to get mobile alerts about order updates, messages etc on your mobile phone?
Push notifications I mean. Like when you get a PayPal payment sort of thing that shows either on the lock screen and pings when you get it like.
You know what I mean!
Is that possible?
If not would you like this as a feature? Would you like to get alerts about new order updates as-they-happen?
I think it would be an excellent way for people to reduce their response time!
Sometimes we don't know about order updates etc until we get the email.
Although saying that... I think this might be possible with an IFTTT recipe!
I might have to try setting one up for any emails that say "Order Update" to send me an SMS I guess that could be a work-around but built in SMS alerts would be neat.

Ah I see! Yes, well I use an iPhone and I don't think it has that setting anywhere. I'll have to try and find an app for that. Currently I'm using this [url=https://www.seoclerks.com/faq/9923/If-This-Then-That-What-The-What-And-Why]IFTTT recipe[/url] which is a work-around but it's not perfect and I need something more idea for it that alerts me when a new sale is made or an update has been made on one of my orders like. Will keep looking. :)

Yeah I saw that Raz, that doesn't mean much to me. I still wouldn't use it. Even if I had an Android device. Not because I wouldn't trust it. But because it wouldn't offer absolutely any functionality or benefit what so ever that I could not get out of just using the safari browser or other on my mobile to access the SEOClerks site. Plus it would be safer. All he's done is create an iframe in an app basically and it's easy as pie to get an app on the Google Play store. Try getting one on the Apple app store then I might be interested. But again, unless it actually offered [b]push notifications[/b], it still wouldn't be of any more benefit to me than my browser on my phone would be and would just be a waste of space even worth having installed imho. :)

[size=140]I really hope that Jordan and the awesome Ionicware entity creates an iOS/Android app with [b]push notifications[/b]. I would download and install it in a heartbeat! Or perhaps someone out there can develop one with [b]push notifications[/b]. Hopefully it's only a matter of time! :D[/size]
