How to Rotate A Video 180

Does anyone know how to rotate a video 180?

I had to use my phone to record a video for one of my blog posts. I was just about to upload it to Youtube this morning when I realized it is upside down

I need some help with this, just remember I am not a clever bunny when it comes to this sort of thing so simple instructions and the easiest way possible.

Why isn't there just a rotate option like with images? UGH

Yeah i know it happens to record it upside down, specially on mobile phones, but don't worry it can be fixed easy by visiting http://www.videorotate.com/ upload your video, rotate it as you wish and you are done, easy peazy

Yeah, just try it, if it's not working as you need, there are more online tools to use for rotating

That's a useful site anweb! I wish more people would correctly use the video cameras in their phones. They should be held horizontally so that the video is a horizontal and not a portrait like. But lots of people don't do this because they don't understand that and because they didn't read the instruction manual. I know, because I used to be one of those people! It was only after people started taking the mickey out of people that hold their phones improperly that people started getting savvy to it! I mean, do you remember this viral video?

Sorry but like she says, "It's a vertical video crime"! LOL

LOL Mike, so now I deserve to have the mickey taken out of me??

Yeah I know I should have known and I should have checked it earlier because my post that was supposed to go live yesterday I still haven't published...

I still have to try and rotate it properly because I ran out of time yesterday.

Yes! You do! But only because I like you and think you're awesome so only as some friendly banter way like. Don't get me wrong. I appen to think you're a very wise and intelligent person and quite clued up and I really respect you! But you gotta have banter and break the ice!

I'm like that with everyone tbh and love it when people are like that with me too haha

Banter, jokes and playing aside. On a more professional level! No, I think it is just one of those things, video cameras are relatively new things. Although they've been with us for about 10+ years now. People learn things slowly and don't realize about this. Fortunately, it is possible to rotate the video online for free or using some video editing software too. And let's look on the bright side, like you said, it's not something you will do again!

I think that this falls back onto the phone makers actually. I mean, they should make phones that record in horizontal (landscape) mode, even though they're help in portrait mode don't you think? :|

I think. Actually, that's pretty true. They should have though about that years ago. I might pose that as a question on the Apple forums actually.

I just get sensitive when I do something stupid LOL. And to be honest I do some silly things on a regular occasion. I must have some brains though because yes I don't usually repeat mistakes
