I am blessed let me just say that before anything and I've found success in many ways. Iwould love too take the time in talking bout some recent success without getting into to much detail . I have recently taken a risk on my business and upgraded a few things to increase productivity and my first couple investments have already paid for them selves so now with the additional equipment i am expecting my full money back in just a matter of time things are running smoothly and everything i got going right now is prosperous i am very proud of my self. any body willing to share any recent success?
By working hard, but also smart, will grant you plenty of benefits in the long run. If you work a 9 to 5 for a company and you are the hardest worker, but do a shitty job, you won't see a promotion very quick.
If you're not putting in a bunch of hours, you're not working hard enough.

I didn't get a promotion, but the person who use to write the schedules now had to listen to everything that I said
Yeah, I've been the go to guy and it's ridiculous that the managers get pissed off at you if you can't come fill in for someone elses shift because they didn't come to work. I shouldn't matter if you live 5 minutes away or 30 minutes away, based on availability, everyone should be asked to come in and not one person. When I had a 9 to 5 I was in the same spot, I would always get asked to come in because I would get the job done quick and it would be perfect. I would always have 40 hours on my schedule each week until I said I couldn't come in for someones shift because I had something to do. The manager would actually be upset with me because I couldn't cover for someone who was slacking off. They got just as mad at me for not being able to cover as they did for the person not coming in, it was ridiculous lol. I probably got asked around 3 or 4 times a month to cover someones shift and I probably said not 2 or 3 times a year. But those 2 or 3 times were the result of me getting less hours the next time the schedule was made. I remember talking with my GM about some event that was going on and he asked if I was going to be getting overtime for it. He didn't care about the overtime, he just wanted to see how much I was working. I joked around and said "Yeah, most likely. But it won't matter becasue next week I'll probably get scheduled for 20 hours". He then asked why I would only be working 20ish hours and I told him about what would happen if I said I couldn't cover for someone. He made me bring in all my schedules and sure enough, it showed that the times I got 20 hours a week was right after someone didn't show up for work and I was asked to come in lol. Needless to say, the person who was making the schedules was demoted and I consistently had 40+ hours a week after that :D I didn't get a promotion, but the person who use to write the schedules now had to listen to everything that I said :D

Even if you have a Bachelors, Masters, or PHD in the field you're in, you still need to be studying so that you don't fall behind the competition. If you're working online, like most of us here, you need to be reading all the time on new updates and methods in order to beat out your competition. I wouldn't have clients stay with me for years if I didn't research techniques whenever I can. It's definitely true, but it's not just because you worked hard. Just working hard isn't what grants you good things, it's how you work when doing it. That's a bit difficult to understand so I'll try to go into as much detail as I can.
