Do you hire a writer or write your own content?

The cost to hire a writer can be a lot, if you want original content, not just spun articles.

When you want a blog article, do you hire it done or write for yourself?

Hi sanfora thanks for asking your question. I have some blog sites and which I own over past some years and all are about different subject. And I write content not very often just 1 -2 content a week. And I think it is enough. But, I make content 2 ways one myself and sometimes, I hire a writer for my blog. And reason is, you may know all person are not expert or knowledgeable about all matters. So, sometimes, you need to get help from other for specific subject. But, I more than insist on unique content and relevant content for my blog, I do not care who write it. So, I do both most of the time writing content myself and sometimes hiring someone to write for specific subject.

Hello sanfora,
I write my own content. Mostly. I did hire a copywriter when I launched an ebook a few years back.. But that wasn't for me. I paid about $500 in total, an he rewrote my content, as I already written the entire book. He also checked the grammar and all that kind of things. However, the ebook was a total of about 50 pages, so I basically paid $10 for 1 page.

And that's a good deal. It's a fair cost, but that experience wasn't worth it.

For my blog articles, mostly I write for myself since I know what I want written and I like to research topics myself and then write about them. And while it can be expensive sometimes depending on who you're hiring, their level of experience, and what you want written and how much. But generally content creation doesn't need to cost an arm and a leg. You should expect to pay around $5 per 500 words for medium quality content but up to $10+ or more for around 500 words of high quality content that has been researched properly. Literally anyone can write an article on something but it's best if that content has been well researched first by an expert and your readers will appreciate that so its well worth paying the little extra that it costs to get a high quality, well researched blog post written for your blog. Nobody should be buying/using spun articles any more that is so old hat! Hope this helps.

At this stage I write all my content myself. I have 3 blogs and I find it hard to keep up with writing because I have such a little time available while my kids are in daycare in the morning... I am going to start outsourcing some of my work soon!

I have found it quite a hard thing to find someone I think would write content that I would be happy with for my websites. I can be quite a control freak and I don't want bad quality content or even worse someone giving me duplicate content!

So for 4 years I have done everything myself but I am now ready to start outsourcing a bit of the work.

original ! key word man original the true reality behind all of this is that in order for you to get that originality you want you have to take the time and effort to put thought into writing something yourself. some thing that you know makes sense too you , that you know after taking the time to sit down and really evaluate what points your trying to come across that you can really you put the time into saying exactly what you mean and having the best understanding can help especially if you ever need to answer any questions

I normally do a mixture of both. When I have time, I write my own articles and when I am busy I hire someone to do it for me. Recently, I am getting more and more busy so I have only been hiring people to do it. I have a team who I hire regularly who gives me pretty good discounts so I can hire people to write for me for not a very high cost which means I can earn enough revenue. Also, I am not the best writer so I sometimes hire others to do it for me to ensure the quality is high. My website gets some traffic so hiring someone to write content for me is definitely affordable.

I write my own contents, however, sometimes I also hire a content writer. I am a writer but I cannot write everything. For instance, I can write a good article on alternative healing, however, I cannot write medical articles. Therefore, I hire writers to write on the topics that I don't have any skills. Sometimes I hire writers when I don't have time to research. If I have research, I can write a 500 word article in one or two hours, however, I have to do many hours of research to write that article. Therefore, I hire writers.

I do most of my writings, not because I can't hire a freelancer tet, but as a result of the fact that I enjoy writing these articles and the positive reviews and comments, I always get from people that have read my articles on how simple, yet catching my articles have been. However, one needs to realize that writing quality articles involve spending some hours researching well about what we need to write on.

If you cannot write your own contents then I think you have to hire a good writer who could write original articles for you. It is not a good idea to resort to article spinning because of the risk that your site can be sanctioned by search engines for duplicate content. There are so many good writers around us and all you need is to be discerning if the one you plan to hire fits your needs.
