Again, it's time for the Steam summer game sale.
I've already purchased a lot of games so far, including Ark Survival Evolved, Ages of Empires 2 and 3, Orion and The Isle.
The sale ends tomorrow, July 4, 10 AM PDT. Please go look at the site and tell me what I need to buy. I wait all year to buy good games and when it's time, then I can't think what to buy. :/

I hesitate and then miss out and have to wait until Christmas to get more Steam game deals.
I wanted CSGO, but my friend in Amsterdam says it's not the game for me as guys rage on it all the time and we could not play on the same server anyway as he lives there and I live here and there would be too much lag for me. :/
Also, I liked the idea of The Dying Light: The Following, is that any good?
Not so much into shooter games. It's not that I mind violence in video games but just never really played them a lot. And, there are so many, I don't really know which franchise to get into. Maybe you could recommend a really good shooter game to get into, something where you can play on servers.
Far Cry Primal, that's good? I like hard core survival games, anything with a man vs nature, building/crafting, player killing also - but not killing for the sake of killing but as an integral part of survival. I like a good story line, amazing graphics if possible, Indie games (like the Long Dark) anything like that.
I don't have any zombie type games, which one(s) are the best now, nothing old only recent.
Bored of my current collection and stocking up, would appreciate help. Thanks.
My friend has this game, Ark Survival: Evolved and loves it too but he says you need a monster computer to make it run. :/
I have only purchased but not played the game. I'm worried it will not load, very similar to what happened with Rust - another survival game.
I will definitely consider CS:GO. I've seen some live streams and it looks insanely fun and fast paced. :)

Most of the games that are available on other platforms are also available on Steam - it's just a convenient interface for organizing your computer games. In fact, you can add games purchased outside of the Steam site into the Steam interface, so you can use the Steam chat to talk to friends. A lot of people prefer it for that. For instance, Runescape is an independent game, but one of my friends plays that game via Steam interface, though you can't purchase it through Steam and he does that so he doesn't have to minimize Steam to play the game. :)
Anyway, I checked out Blur and it looks like fun. There is a similar game on Steam that is for racing and I had considered buying that. I can't remember the name at this time, but it's on my wish list now. :)
P.S. Not sure if i mentioned this before but the refund option on Steam is just awesome! You can play a game for up to 2 hours and if you don't like it, ask for a refund. Thats assuming you have not owned the game more than 2 weeks. A very cool way to try out a new computer game to see if it works on your computer or if you even like it. Can't say enough good things about Steam. Basically for computer games, hope you can try it out. :)

Wow, thank you Bev! Just downloaded steam and registered an account there, it looks so amazing platform and i really like it. I'm still exploring on it, it's really fun. I see free games there, i'm going to try them :)

Also, as I mentioned please look for the free Steam game weekends. Just check their site on Friday to see what game is free that weekend. Most times, there is a huge discount on that game too. Also, start building your wish-list for games you like :)
Lots of cool Steam groups to join and also a fun forum if you have issues with a specific game. The Steam community is really amazing, especially for game makers, just the best people to give feedback on anything. They will usually know what games are good or not, just read the reviews on each game page and you can't go wrong. :)

CS is a fantastic game and I've played it "seriously" in a team and all that several years ago. As a "semi-pro" kind of. However, that was during CS 1.6. Nowadays, CSGO is the deal and that's, in my experience, even a better game. But, I wouldn't recommend anyone to play it, in case they can't handle whine and crazy russians screaming. (You can mute the voice though)
I would recommend ARK: Survival Evolved, in case you're into survival games, the man vs nature thing. However, ARK includes Dinosaurs which you can tame, breed and use for harvesting and in fights. That's pretty neat! I've played it for hours. You can play it with friends or alone, even though it's a better gaming experience if you're playing with friends.
You build houses, decorate, tame, breed, harvest and, as you're a human, you'll need to eat. So go out there and hunt some dinos!
