    Have you ever used NFC Payment?

    I’ve never used that type of payment, because it’s not available yet in those markets where I usually go for shopping. Nowadays, most of smartphones have this option, and personally I really like the idea to pay via my phone, without using credit card physically.

    I'm in South Africa, a third world country... I will probably be waiting a while LOL. I remember going to New Zealand in 1999 and seeing debit cards being swiped everywhere at till points, we didn't have that here yet! It took a while for us to catch up!

    I use contactless payment. And since I keep my bankcard inside my phones case, I can just hover my phone over the card reader and bing! It's done. Saves me having to punch in my pin number. This only works for transactions of £25 or less though at the moment. Eventually I expect all phones to have some sort of NFC chip in them making them compatible with Apple pay or some equivalent. Eventually, our phones will contain everything about us though and probably act like your ID card does even doing away with Passports altogether in an attempt to making everything digitalized. I don't know how that's going to play out though if you loose your phone. But I'd expect if that was the case, they would have trackers installed to them with their own battery so if it was lost, it could be tracked and found again. Very similar to how Find my iPhone works if you've ever used it? Except that only works when the phone has been turned on. However with a tracking device installed in the phone, even if it wasn't powered on, it could still be found. So yeah, probably.

    That's cool Mike, but of course this technology has its cons and pros. Also i don't like to have all my information stored to a mobile phone, because as you said what would happen if i loose my phone, we all know that every phone can be unblocked somehow, so still our information it's not safe enough. Yes we can use use "find my phone" to track our phone , but this option it's not valid if mobile device is turned off, but nowadays everything is possible so installing a hardware(gps chip) inside our phone it's the best solution.

    Hi procoder thanks for show up a nice technology about Near Field Communication (NFC) payment. it is just easy way to communicate to devices to another device to pay for any services. I have been using credit card here in our country but still I do not see such type of service allow in our country and I never see anywhere. And that should be very convenient payment method by (NFC) and sure I will use it, if such type of technology available here. I do not know when it will come? Because, my condition as like Lynne. I am also third world country people and may be bit unlucky for getting hot technology.
