    How do I delete a page from Facebook?

    I want a page to be deleted from Facebook. Is that possible to do?

    Yes of course you can do it, obviously if this page was created by you. Just log into your account.
    Then go to the page you intend to delete. In the News Feed page, there is a list of menus and shortcuts which you can find on the left hand side. The page should be listed there and once you click on it you will be taken to its screen.
    Click on Edit Page and then on Manage Permissions, and you will see the option where to remove the page. Click on it and the page will then be removed and this is permanent.
    But as I said you need to be the admin of the page to be able to do this.

    Do they still have the wait peroid to delete a facebook page, would you know? I remember I wanted to remove a couple of my pages, and after I clicked the submit button I had to wait a long time for Facebook to actually delete the page.. I believe it was like 10 days or something, it could be more or less.. Hopefully they don't have that time duration anymore, and I'm not too sure why they even implemented it in the first place.

    I am not sure. I never did it myself actually. However it seems that there is indeed a period that one would need to wait until the page gets deleted. I found that it takes 12-14 days generally.

    Oh that is interesting. I never tried to delete a page before but I seen the option there. I had no idea that it took so long for it to be deleted though. I wonder why there is such a long wait for this?

    Hi matcampos000 Thanks for your question. Yes you can delete any page which created by you. I mean you have to have admin access. And it is very easy to delete from your list. If you haveadmin access Just go to setting which at to top of your fan page. And you will see all General information there in first tab and bottom of the page you will see Remove page option and you need to click on edit and there you will see such a message as note ''Deleting your Page means that nobody will be able to see or find it. Once you click delete, you'll have 14 days to restore it in case you change your mind. After that, you'll be asked to confirm whether to delete it permanently. If you choose to unpublish instead, only admins will be able to see your Page.''.

    The other people has given you answers on how to delete your own page and it is a very easy process. However, it is more complicated if you want to delete someone else's pages. You will need to report the page and mention which Facebook rule it breaks. Even then, Facebook won't guarantee to delete the page as they make the final decision. Therefore, you can try to report it but there is no way that will have a 100% chance of removing someone else's page. If you see content on a facebook page that may be offending you, then you can always contact the owner to remove it.

    I'm glad to know more about this particular stage as well. I never thought of deleting someone's else page on facebook without reporting and that's where this comes handy.
