How To Create Info Products in 24 Hours

We previously covered "How To Create Your First Product" and now I'll tell you how you can do this within 24 hours! -Wouldn't that be quite awesome?

If you're tired of doing research, or not just fond of it.. There's a bit "sneakier" way to get things done. I'm talking about PLR products. PLR stands for “Private Label Rights”. You can edit them, sell them and claim ownership to the product.

Most PLR products comes with everything you need. Ebook, covers, articles. Even sales letters, so it's easy to start selling them. However, I do recommend that you alter the information within. Re-write the content. Use your own words.

If you were going to personally use Private Label Rights products to create an info-product, how much editing and rewriting would you do before selling? As in percentage wise, rewrite.

Hey Beverly,
As PLR products can be sold directly, without any changes at all it comes down to how much time you feel you could or should spend on this. I personally would probably rewrite everything, so the product was in my own words, as that would ultimately give me "my" product instead of a product from someone else. However, in case you'd want to "speed things up" a bit, but still rewrite enough to make it "your product", I'd say you should rewrite about 50% at least.

The fifty percent ratio is not as much as I would have thought, in terms of rewriting. Would you restructure the content or how much additional info would you add to the content before attempting to sell? As I mentioned before, I have experience with owning PLR, but not selling it and I have revamped some content, but it is time consuming and I'm never sure how far to go in terms of editing and typically go way overboard in time spent trying to make the PLR unique enough to sell again to others. Just looking for a good balance in terms of good content and originality but also having the convenience of pre-written content via Private Label Rights.

Whenever I write an ebook I do it on my own. I don't use PLR content myself, but I have done so in the past. If I where to use PLR content today, I would probably add about 25%-50% additional information and rewrite about 50% of the content within. Just for my own personal satisfaction so to speak. However, you can still just sell the PLR as it is, by just claiming ownership to it, and doing so will enable you to mass-produce content much faster than making changes to it. Although I strongly believe you should alter the information, as that will give you something unique to sell.

And yeah... This is how i started almost 15 years ago to make money online. Bought huge pack of PLR articles and thousands of ebooks with master resell rights, all in one package, one sale on eBay. I was reselling them fast, again on eBay, then i was dividing them in separate niches and selling smaller packages for cheaper price. What a good feeling when you can sell same thing over and over again

I was running it for as long eBay allowed selling digital products, then i started to making and selling my own products, built by my own ideas.

I'm sure I had those same PLR article packs starting out over ten years ago. I never resold the packs, but mostly would divide them up to give away to email lists or use them as content in newsletter emails. That was before I learned how to write for the internet. At some point, I realized it was just better to write my own content, which would be more focused on my own niche, rather than generic Private Label Rights content.

Though, there were some really amazingly well written private label rights ebooks that I still own today and still refer to them often. I had rewritten some at one point, but decided not to pursue that angle as so many people were selling the same ebooks at the time. Possibly, I would consider revamping those ebooks and hiring someone to create unique images and website for the ebooks. PLR ebooks are not a bad thing, but they are only a starting point and you really have to bring more to the content in terms of additional information, rewriting, bonuses, etc to make it a real value for the customer - at least more than what the competitor is doing.

That is so true. However, you could also use the PLR content as a bonus product to your own products, and still leave the PLR as it is. That will bring more value to your customers even though you give all your buyers the same bonus product. Most people would prefer to get two products for the price of one, even if they actually know that the PLR content is something you've bought yourself. It brings more value to your offer.
