    Do you suffer from guilty conscience?

    Sometimes I have intense feelings of guilt or guilty conscience over things that I have done or not done in the past. I feel very guilty for neglecting my siblings when we lived in the same hometown.

    And now that we are worlds apart, I miss them like crazy and long for the old times.

    I do not know how to get over my guilt. Do you suffer from guilty conscience?

    Most people have regrets in life and that's just part of being human.
    Maybe there was some reason for not spending as much time with your family when you were living in the same area.

    Maybe you were working a lot of preoccupied with other issues.

    It's never too late now. Just pick up the phone and call them now. Do you suffer from guilty conscience?

    I don't have a guilty conscience but I have regrets over things that I have not done or don't have time to do.

    If I promised my mom that I would come to be with her for the weekend and could not then I would feel bad at myself as I know that I have hurt her feelings. That's not guilt. Though I can always make it up to her.

    There are things in the past that I would like to change. I have a tendency to overthink things and often wonder if I mix that up with a guilty conscious.

    If you have unresolved issues with your family, then you should take time to change things. Talk it out with your family. Tell them the truth. Maybe your family felt the same way, neglected. You can change things now and make them better.

    Yes, it happens to me, every time I do something bad, a single "stupid" things, like throw some trash in the street, and when I do that I have to return and take the trash to throw it in some trash bags, but I try to be the bestest version of myself so I don't feel the guilty conscience everyday.

    It happens to me sometimes that when I do certain things, the mind will keep pricking me that what I did was not good. I always end up saying sorry, if I noticed that I was the one that offended at that particular moment.

    I think it is normal for humans like us to feel the guilt of a past incident when we recall such moment. But it is easy to get rid of the guilt by thinking of another thing. However when you experience feeling guilty with the past regularly or frequently then that is a sign of depression. You have to do something about it before it gets out of hand. If you cannot consult a doctor then talk with a friend about it.
