    HostGator: How Do I Cancel A Hosting Package?

    I purchased a new hosting package last week for a website I was going to start, but that website idea hasn't turned into anything, the hosting package is still active though so I want to cancel it before its starts costing me more money. HostGator: How Do I Cancel A Hosting Package? I am with HostGator. How do I cancel a package?

    Is that the only 2 ways of doing it? Is the an option to do it on the cPanel?

    Hostgator has the different portal for billing. You can access that billing portal from your hosting cpanel. You can go to the billing panel and choose the package you are paying. And then click on cancel hosting option. And they will do the rest. And you can see it will cancel your hosting after some time. You should take a look at the available options inside hosting side for the same.

    Second, of course, you need to choose which one of your shipments you would like to cancel. If you just have one set, then it's an easy decision.

    If you have bought several HostGator packages, you need to choose which one to cancel, or you might want to cancel all of them.

    Of course, this move might sound a little too obvious, but that's what you need to decide before moving on. It will also make the cancelling process easier for you.
