Good places

What are some of the places that you have bought domain names from? Ones that you have had the best luck from. Tell us your experience and if you would do it all over again.

I generally buy my domain names on mediatemple or gandi. They are not the cheapest but background services are very good.
What i call good background service are :
- Good support
- Solid DNS/MX services
- A lot for free pop mails & , at least, a little free hosting
- User-friendly administration
