Free domain name with hosting

Does your host company offer you a free domain name (TLD) with your hosting package? If so, can you recommend a host company that will do this?

When I was with http://www.ezpzhosting.co.uk/, I got a free domain with my hosting account but once you cancel your hosting, they get to keep the domain. This could be good for those on a budget however I don't think you are able to transfer your domain if you would like to sell your website in the future which is the only con for this. Otherwise, it is great. I can't think of any other host which does this from the top of my head but EZPZ Hosting does for shared and reseller plans.

Godaddy offers a free domain with all hosting packages, which start as little as $4.99 a month for economy hosting.

I am with namecheap, however, namecheap does not offer a free domain with the hosting package. I have not used iPage service, but I know iPage offers a free domain if you buy a hosting package from them. I also hear Go Daddy offers free domain for people using theri hosting service for the first time, Before, you subscribe to the hosting package that offers free domain always check whether you are paying more money for the service that caould be bought for less money. For example, if you get a shared hosting from namecheap, you can get if for $9.88, a dot com cost $9.88 on namecheap, You will be paying $19.76 for a domain an hosting. IPage offers the similar package for $36 (hosting and domain included. Compare the price and see which is a cheaper option.
