I did not know about yahoo domains. I just checked the link shared by the OP. It says you will get a domain for 95 cents if you register for more than 2 years. The page also states that you can get a website for less than $1 per month. I think this offer is considerable if you want to build a website for a small price.

This looks a great offer especially for newbie bloggers that just want to test the waters and might not want to blog on the free domain, I think this is cheap enough to get one started on owning a domain named blog or a store online.
