    So before you run off and get all your friends to Tweet your post (or worse yet buy Likes etc.), read on to understand the math and real reason why social works.

    From what I have read in the SEO discussions in this site, social signals is the link of your website that you have posted in social media. If you have a Facebook account and you posted on your timeline a spiel about your website with the backlink then that is social signal that you had created. I think social signals are also recognized by search engines in terms of SEO capability.
