Using Tumblr for blogging and backlinking

I've used Tumblr many times for backlinking and blogging. Tumblr offers a very flexible platform for blogging and building an online community. The advantage of using Tumblr is the links you post on the site are do follow; which means you can easily backlink to your posts/pages on another site. These Tumblr blogs are also excellent for building a blog network, such as when you are constructing a link wheel pointing at your main site. Have you tried Tumblr for either blogging, social networking or backlinking? Please discuss your experiences with the site.

Tumblr is a fun site to post to and more like a blog than Facebook. I love posting images there. They always get clicked on.

yes that good now days too and it helps in getting traffic too is good for backlinking as well

I am not sure but I think I created my tumbler account in 2015. I published two posts and never went back again. I was already on various writing sites and I did not find time to continue writing on tumblr. I never considered using tumblr for backlinking until recently. I will be soon using tumblr for backlinking. They say tumblr gives you high quality backlinks.
