What is a topic channel on Youtube?

Just today, I did a search on 'coffee' and Youtube came up with a 'topic channel'. I have not been able to find out who owns this channel. I was wondering if it's possible to claim a topic channel. Also, can you tell me more about what a topic channel is or who it was created by.

A topic channel is one that is automatically generated by Youtube about a generic subject whenever you create a search. And, rather than coming up with an official channel, the more generic channel will show you a random sampling of relevant videos about that topic that you might want to see. The playlists are all automatically generated and should be highly relevant to your search.

With all the variety of subjects covered on Youtube, I would be surprised if there were too many topic channels generated, as most likely everything you could want to know on any subject imaginable has already been turned into a channel already. Though it's good to know that Youtube is on the job, helping us fill in the blank to create these impromptu channels when one does not already exist.

I don't think you can claim a topic channel as it's auto-created by Youtube, so it belongs to Youtube and is a compilation of various people's videos, not just one person's property.

Gee, I didn’t know that Youtube can give you ideas about a topic and it comes as a suggestion for you. Does that mean that I can claim the suggested topic channel of Youtube? For example I am searching for pets and the topic channel Corgi appears. Can I use Corgi for my channel?
