    Why doesn't my Youtube work?

    I can't get Youtube to work on my computer now. I'm not sure what needs to be updated. Suggestions would be welcome on how to fix this

    Have you updated your flash on your computer? This could cause Youtube not to work well.

    Do you have flash enabled on your browser? If not, there will be a warning message on the video screen when you try to play it on Youtube. There is a way to enable this in the plugins section for your browser.

    Your browser might not be compatible with HTML5, though most times Youtube will compensate for this error by simply allow videos to stream in a lower quality setting.

    This could have more to do with your computer's RAM and if this resource is insufficient that could cause your video to lag. As you buffer and play videos, they may fill up your cache. Reboot your computer and Youtube should work. Just don't have too many other tabs open when playing Youtube videos.

Reboot your computer and Youtube should work. Just don't have too many other tabs open when playing Youtube videos.


    Possibly it's the internet company that is throttling your bandwidth. That can really happen these days even on higher tier internet packages.
