My account in Twitter is inactive because I rarely use it and in the recent years, I don’t find any use for it since Facebook posting seemed enough for my needs. But for getting your tweet to be re-tweeted, I have seen followers spreading the tweet that is intriguing, controversial or even mysterious. An example is a death of a celebrity which was being asked in a tweet. That tweet was re-tweeted many times in the form of a question. It seemed that the re-tweeters are also asking for answers if the tweet was true or not.
