Are signature links still helpful in SEO?

I have lots of signature links on various websites and forums. Are there still helpful in search engine optimization?

Ofcourse they are.... google still likes backlinks.....Make sure you don't skip popular webmaster forums... they will help you getting pages indexed too fast.

Having signature links can definitely help you in many ways. First of all, your site will get impressions which can give you lots of traffic.

I always prefer to have signature links.

When you say signature links that means you have created a signature in a forum that included your site’s link. When you make a post on the board then your signature appears that shows your site’s link which is actually a backlink. Unless the admin of the forum removes that post of yours that means you have your backlink on that forum. If you had made 100 posts then you have 100 backlinks there.
