    I think it would be suspicious to get so many new fans in a day unless you are a really big company. And, Facebook might lock your account.

    For an ordinary Facebook user like me, what I can muster in one day is maybe 100 followers. That estimate is based on my resources, not only the number of friends that I have but also on the kind of friends that I have. They are conservative and most are passive. I have a friend who is a teenager that when she posts, it easily gets 200 likes and countless of comments mainly because her friends are mostly active.
