Search Engine Optimization in Simplest Form: The Two Most Overlooked Pieces of SEO
Many are convinced that SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is difficult to accomplish. Although SEO can become complex when digging deaper into detail, SEO can also be accomplished by acting on just TWO extrememly beneficial parts; Keywords and Quality Backlinks.

Search Engine Optimization: Keywords
I cannot stress enough about how important keywords are to your overall on-page SEO. The goal is to find LOW COMPETITION keywords (idealy), that have an average of 1,000 monthly searches, and make them your focus; targeted keywords.

'How do I find the right keywords?' you ask? Easy. Google offers an extremely useful keyword planner tool that allows you to search specific keywords and even find out ideas relevant to those keywords. Think of a word or phrase relevant to your website content and use that in your keyword planner search. Take time to find the perfect word or phrase - after all, your PR/Position depends on it.

Search Engine Optimization: Quality Backlinks
Good quality backlinks are another essential part of your overall website SEO. Google wants to rank pages higher when they have other, credible websites linking back to them.
This does not mean to go submit your website to a link farm of any sort, or to some random website that no one has ever heard of (doing this can actually hurt your website, so be careful!).
Get your website linked from websites of good quality and you're certain to increase in PR/Position on Google in no time.

I was searching for a beach resort the other day when I realized that keywords or tagging can be effective in getting visitors from search engines. I had actually clicked on more than 5 websites that looked interesting and I even reached page 2 of the search list. Most of the websites appeared like they were included in the search list because of the keyword. To be honest, I am not much aware of the keywords in terms of the search list but now I know that keywords are important in your content for it can give you traffic via search engines.
